With twenty minutes to spare before my shift began, I sketched the view from the sea wall. For once I decided not to be a complete perfectionist, and declared the drawing completed before I ran out of time. It’s very tempting to keep adding to it, but I’m leaving this one as is; I could obsess over the detail for hours otherwise.
